Is No Squeaking Normal?

I only just realised, one of my boys who i have had for 2 months, he is 20 weeks old, he has NEVER squeaked! he makes random chattering noise but has never ever squeaked.
is this normal?
 
some just dont wheek... :))
i have some that try to wheek and nothing comes out... some that just never bother... and some that dont stop...!... :))
its just one fo those things... :))

Some piggies simply can't shut up even for a moment and others won't open their mouths... Just like humans! mallethead
 
My Doodle-Pig never wheeks...makes a chattering noise when she walks but that is all. Miss Mabel on the other hand, wheeks all the time! x
 
I have two scared cat boys, ive had them for about a year, they didnt squeak up untill a couple of months ago. Even now they only do it when they think i cant hear (which kinda defeats the point i know.)
 
Tango barely wheeks at all, if he does its usually sort of throating sounding and very faint. Cash-pig on the other hand never shuts up, Daddypig says it sounds like he's beeping all the time!
 
One if my piggies rarely wheeks and when he does it's never very loud I don't think he knows how to he's quite self conscious too lol he usually runs into one of his hideys to popcorn and then he runs back out again rolleyes
 
I wish Bertie squeaked! My last two Rusty didnt at all, and Squeak well the name says it all!

My boys fall into the first category... they literally never stop talking to each other, which they only break off to tell me off rolleyes

Even when they are asleep they are constantly chirruping!
 
The only time i have heard Nala wheek is when she råd seporated from ny other two, otherwise she just grunts when she is walking, however Mdluli never stops! I would be worried if she stopped Lol!
 
My eldest boars rarely made a sound and my third newbie was quite quiet too. Then I got a fourth guinea pig to go with Romano and ever since he came they all squeak when they want stuff. Arthur -the newest- never shut up and they learnt from him that it gets my attention. :))
 
3 of ours guinea pigs are vocal, and there's Cookie which i've only heard him do one suttle wheek, but when i hold him he does the gentle squeaking. Funny how they're all differentxx>>>
