Thank you. Sorry to ask another question, but when did you start noticing that the Cystease was working? I was wondering whether I should give Lily 1 capsule twice a day, instead of half a capsule twice a day, then reducing it once she is a lot better. She has only been taking it for a week though, so I wasn't sure whether to wait a while.
Sorry about the last reply.. It went all weird when I tried to send so started again, u got a snippet of both! I don't like the word "personally" that much, honest! :D

Crunchie was on the 1 capsule a day for around 2 weeks before I upped it to twice a day, it was only around week 3 I noticed a difference in her pain levels so think the upping did help her.i saw the full affect by around week 6. It will take time x

Haha I never noticed the first part of your message. I think I will increase the Cystease soon. It's been a nightmare trying to give it to her, as she spits some of it out, so she's probably only having half a capsule a day.

The trick is to wave some bite sized pieces of her fave veg infront of er so she knows you have it.. Squirt in some of medication in her mouth then quickly offer the piece of veg she's looking for.. Repeat until the syringe is done and it should all go down together!

Thanks I will try that :)

Yes about a quarter of a slice, sometimes a bit bigger if the OH is chopping and not me.
Hi Helen, Lily refuses to eat green beans so I was wondering if you know if they can be substituted with something else? I wasn't sure if the diet would still be balanced (regarding the calcium/phosphorus) if I just left the greens beans out. Thank you.
