Is she happy?

I've been wondering if Annie and Doris are happy together, sometimes they snuggle under their house together, and when I'm going to get Annie she hides behind Doris and Doris doesn't move (as if she's protecting her). But then I feel as though Doris doesn't want to be around Annie because she sits in the litter tray muching on hay n doesn't really like Annie coming in/near her, and they have this comfy tube with Doris loves and wont let Annie come near her when she's in it, I actually saw her open her mouth to Annie earlier to warn her off from it. Maybe Doris is just being dominant? But that makes me wonder if Annie is happy living with her.

Totally normal behaviour. They are obviously still working through some dominance issues, but they sound well bonded. They will settle down happily together once they have decided which shape their relationship will take.
