Today i have noticed summer isnt herself she is eating and drinking but she seems really lethargic and i had her out and she wasn't being herself atall she just lay on my usaly she wriggles a bit jasmine also seems to be going anywhere summer does like protecting her. i know these are vauge symptoms but its a worry she is really not herself. :(

All you can do is keep an extra watch on her Kaye...an owner knows best if something isn't right. Have a listen to her chest to make sure she doesn't sound 'clicky', keep an eye on her wee (maybe put a white towel in the cage to check for any blood in her wee) and check her over for lumps, bumps, any scurfy looking skin. I do this once a week with all my piggies....She is more than likely fine but best keep an extra eye :)

i had a check ad coldnt find anything untowards but she really isnt herself atall and it is making mw worried and the fact jasmine is following her is strange aswell. if she is still like thos tomorrow i might take her to the vet.

Always the best thing to pop her along to the vet if you are worried. Good luck and I hope she is just having an off day or two.

Joy xx

If you can, weigh her daily while she is appearing a little "off". Weight loss can be one of the earliest symptoms of most illnesses.

It is most troublesome when the pigs give away such vague signs. Sometimes they are just a little "down", sometimes they are hiding something far more serious. The only thing you can do is monitor and prepare to act quickly if any other symptoms show themselves.
