Hi guys, do any of you know of any healthy treats I can buy. I haven't bought any as I don't want the ones with honey and seeds as I know they are bad for them. Any info would be greatly appreciated as Christmas is coming!

You can look for readigrass or dried herbal forage. These are perfectly fine if given in small quantities (like a pinch) as an occasional treat. All dried foods are higher in calcium, and should not be overfed. they can also contribute towards overweight if you are too generous.

The healthy treats yoi can buy are mostly dried herbs such as wilkinsons sell "dandelion and green oat mix" that piggies LOVE! Mine go mental for it!

You can also buy healthy treats such as:

Any of the dried herbs make healthy treats.

Also diffrent hays is a wonderful healthy treat. i buy a few hays at a time, at the moment i have Dandelion hay, Oxbow orchard grass, Oxbow timmothy hay, Vikraft Rose petal hay and vikraft nettle hay and they love the variety :D

As mentioned above, its all about moderation :)

i buy treat hays (oxbow western timothy at the moment), and dried herbs aswell which they have a small amount of a couple of times a week. i scatter them in the hay and they love foraging for them. things like willow sticks and leaves, apple sticks etc can make nice healthy treats aswell :)

Thank you all for taking the time to reply it is much appreciated. Your posts have given me plenty of ideas and now all I have to do is choose! Thanks again Jenny x
