Is there guinea Pig Insurance Available?

our local pet and vets only seem to pet insurance for cats, dogs and occasionally rabbits, is there anyone out there that can supply pet insurance for guinea pigs?

I find it’s easier to set up a vet fund and put money into that for vet fees.
Saving money every month or week soon mounts up and the fund is there when needed

Of course you have to research your policy and be happy with it, but I personally feel that it is just easier to have the money set aside in your own bank account easily accessible rather than have the concern that a policy may or may not pay for a particular issue

Thankfully i am in a reasonably well paid job but that can change in the blink of an eye with the current situation that's going on in the country

I did have insurance for the first year we had the boys. But on renewal it was going to go up so I thought I can just put away that money separately for when I need it. I vaulguely remember them saying they wouldn’t cover conditions that were present for two weeks before the insurance starts. But read the policy carefully, it’s all a blur now!
