My night started rather not good I had a good idea well cleaning the cage I would put them in the bathroom on Vinyl because it's easier to clean the girls were sensible and just didn't move Fred on the other hand when I went to get him was slipping all over the place, stumbling panicking I felt so bad, I didn't realise they would slide how dense am I. I'm praying he is ok, he didn't seem hurt but his wee heart was going like the clappers and his breathing was heavy was so worried. Don't think he could have did too much damage he is still moving and eating etc... fingers crossed he is ok.

What is strange is normally Fred is terrified when it's cuddle times and you can tell, tonight he lay down, didn't run and just sat getting patted he was even making a kind of hoot sound when I was patting him don't know what that was about any ideas?

Now I have Pebbles out and she is normally into everything and trying to jump off heights but she is just lying down too... They seem so calm tonight... Strange!

Wilma hasn't had cuddle yet she's next but she always just sleeps :)...

Sounds like maybe you've cracked it with Fred, the girls have definately been a good influence on him and now maybe he's being a good influence on Pebbles too :)

Hopefully, they have recovered by tomorrow. I find that in a group, fear and upsets transfer onto the others and the group as a whole is much more subdued or twitchy for a while.

Wilma is calm too, wonder if they are all sedated lmao! Nothing liked relaxed cuddles one day I may be able to take all 3 out at once, Doubt it lmao!

Actually, I found it really helpful with settling Taffy and Telyn by having them on my lap with a quiet cuddler like Nerys or Nia.

Taffy is still very much work in progress, though! mallethead

lol i wouldn't stand a chance getting them all on my lap can only ever cope with one pig at a time :))..

I like the seduded pigs long may it continue brilliant for cuddling :))

They'll be just fine Joanne, it's easy for a bit of worry to transfer between all of you - pigs and people! I'm sure they're back to normal this morning. :)

I put my piggies on lino in the bathroom and the are fine with it so not sure what to suggest.... Hope they have all recovered this morning! :))
