Is there something wrong with Darwin's eye?

Darwin's always had a kind of whitish fatty ring to the bottom of her eye, but I noticed today that she has a new, almost brown, part to it. Does anyone recognise this, is it a problem?

Looks like a case of fatty eye to me - something that can be passed down from the parents. I would have a vet check just to make sure it's not something sinister and that no hay / debris is caught underneath.
