I just bought food for "rabbits and guinea pigs" Ingredients are Lucerne chaff, oats, bran and rabbit and guinea pig pellets. (Of course I will be giving freash fruit and veges daily and water)

the analysis is Min Crude Protein 14 % Min Crude Fat 2 % and Min Fibre 3%

Thank you!

Would that be the Dux brand piggie food from the supermarket?
It is VERY hard to buy food for piggies in OZ mallethead
I have tried so many and at the moment i use the Dux, but take out the corn and anything else i'm not sure of rolleyes this is cause I have a diabetic piggie :)

Meant to add......there's no food specific for piggies in OZ that i've come across! Other than going to your vets and buying the Oxbow pellets and hay for piggies

Glad i can help :)
Just be wary of anything that you don't know what it is........i'm pretty picky cause of Velvet's problem.........
Oh and don't faze they tend to leave some bits and never eat them, i throw out twice a day and replace with fresh each time :)
Find out too if they're used to veg and fruits, hopefully you get a list of their likes and dislikes, this really helps :)

I hope so! I will ask the lady when she gets here I have the choice of two. I'm just getting one for now until I can buy a bigger cage. I'm so excited!

OK :)
and when you have the space for another one, make sure you let your first piggie choose....... this is great advice from the rescues and from so many of our experienced people on here that do rehoming :)

remember..........PIGTURES SOON! drool
