hi! so I'm going away for a little while and I found someone with 2 neutered boars who is happy to watch my 2 girls but only if they can be in the same cage. (I checked the measurements, its big enough) my girls are extremely calm and easy to get along with and I know that sows generally get along very well with neutered boars but is the combination of 2 of each, ok? I will be checking to make sure they get along before I leave them there of course but I want to make sure there's a decent chance it will work out because I've only ever heard of having one neutered boar with girls.

No, please do not allow this to happen. It would be a complete disaster
You cannot put two boars with two sows as this will cause huge fights and break the bond between the two boars and could huge stress to your girls as both boys will be trying to mate with them.

If this person is going to look after your two girls, then they need to be in their own cage and kept in a totally separate room to this persons boars. The boars must not even see or smell your sows as even having sows in the same room (never mind in the same cage) as boars could break the boars bond.
The alternative would be having somebody go to your house to check on your piggies twice a day, or using a proper boarding service.

Plus, to do this, never mind the risks, it would be a full on bonding experience which is stressful for all piggies. You would then be bringing your piggies home again which would cause further stress (although fights would occur first) when separated. Unless piggies can live together permanently, then there is no benefit in them ever being in the same cage temporarily.
