This morning I phoned up my vets for an appointment as Christian has hay poke. All I had to do was mention his name and the Receptionist knew immediately who I was and my name and everything! She even said "I knew you couldn't stay away for long" Not sure if this is good or bad? Good that I'm obviously caring for my piggies or bad for my bank account? I am very impressed that I got an appointment within the hour though!

:xd: I say its a good thing and I'm sticking to it!

Earlier in the year I went in to our vets for some critical care for Bramble and a vet ive never even seen before goes 'Oh is this for Bramble!? How is she doing!?'

I came to the realisiation that she knew more people than I did :lol!:

When we went to the vets this week I walked in and was greeted with ‘ahh, Suzy! Everyone’s favourite Guinea Pig!’.

She’s made quite the impression!

Welcome to the club! I call it my "rent a tent in the waiting room" phases when everything seems to go wrong at once.

I hope that Christian's eye heals quickly again!

Thanks @Wiebke he always gets hay poke in his left eye. :mal:

Have you considered switching to another hay brand with especially soft hay?
I have a couple of piggies that combine being skittish with loving to jump into a pile of hay... :td:

I have changed it and the stuff I have now is quite soft. I think its just bad luck. He just loves burrowing in it. Last time was April he saw the vet for hay poke and I changed the hay after that.

Aw hope he's better soon!

My vets know me too well now too, I still think it's a good thing! They're all rather in love with Iggy so he gets super star treatment :)) All I have to say is his name and they know who he is, who I am and they book him in straight away XD

I just say "I'm with him" and get to the front of any queue ;)

As for my sad looking bank account, I'm renting Iggy out to cut people's lawns! Hit me up if you need a fluffy gardener! :))

I have 5 fluffy poop machine gardeners myself thanks! My lawn has never looked better after 2 years of piggy poop!

LOL... my vets know me too. Mostly from when I had Sundae, who was there all the time due to chronic issues. But yes... they all know me. My husband says I'm probably putting the vet's kids through college.

You probably are :lol!:
Yep, all I have to do is mention one of my Guinea pigs names and the receptionist knows who they and me are

I hope that Christian feels better soon xx
Thanks so do I!
