Is this a good size for 3 female gps?

:agr:
a 5x2 c&c is the recommended cage for three sows.
piggies aren’t natural climbers but some will use lofts and ramps quite happily, others won’t. I ended up removing the loft for my two piggies as they went up there for about a week and then didn’t bother any more.

I bought that size for my herd of sows and ended up making the loft into an extension of the cage.

I must confess though, it wasn’t because the girls didn’t like the loft. It was because I couldn’t figure out how to build it properly!

I also heard that having a loft would add a hidie space for them underneath. One other question, I am proboubly going to use fleece bedding, if I got a loft would it make the cage harder to clean?

Our pigs love to sit under the loft and the ramp, we use fleece too if you have a 2x1 you should be fine we have a litter tray in the far corner to make it easier to clean but you can just pull the corner of the fleece to bring the poops closer! You will find that a dark corner is the perfect place for a toilet! We also drape a bath mat over our ramp so it’s cosy for their feet and they can hide under it.

Also (just wondering) the cage you recommended is it big enough for gps to popcorn? And how big would it be in real life, like 4 feet or 5 feet, just so I know how it would look? And should I put the cage on a table?

the cage you have linked in is fine for three female piggies. A popcorn is just a very small jump on the spot.
whether you put the cage on a table is your choice.

Having the cage on a table might help them to feel less threatened by you as you won't loom over them as much (correct me if I'm wrong). It's entirely up to you though
