I was just giving final health check, weigh-in & nail clipping before Ellie & Aldous were to go to their new forever home this afternoon. When checking Ellie I noticed a slight scabbing around where her foot meets her leg & also a white covering on her ear. They seem like a possible fungol so I may have to put off their adoption while I get it investigated. Any ideas what this can be.

I'll be taking them both to the vet tomorrow. Ellie's history is she cam here over 2 months ago aged 5 months with her mother who was 9 months. It soon became apparent that they were both pregnant but Ellie had one 145g baby who was eith still born or died shortly after birth 5 weeks ago exactly. She' lived with her mother since birth & has been with her mother & her 3 younger sisters 8 days ago. Her mother had been nipping at her so she was bonded with Aldous & they have been togethe happily for the last 8 days.

I've checked Aldous & he is all OK. I've also just checked all the other 19 piggies including Ellie's mother & 3 sisters & no sign of this on any of them. She also over the last week or so has had a hard dried white deposit in bottom corner of her right eye like what we'd call sleep on a human. It's been there 3 times in last 10 days

I've added some pictures. Any help would be greatfully appreciated x

That looks very much like a fungal ear.

The bald patch on the legs is very difficult to diagnose as they are not in typical areas and could be either. It looks like the piggy has been gnawing on it due to intense irritation, which can happen with either condition.

I've just been combing her & found what looks like dandruff but could it be eggs?
