I have 3 female guinea-pigs, Edie, Willow and Marmalade. I noticed this evening that there was a small amount of blood on the woodshavings. It wasn't red, it was more dark pink/purple kind of colour and I checked over the guinea-pigs but couldn't see any injuries. It was a very small amount. All of the guinea-pigs seem fine and are still going to the toilet fine and there doesn't seem to have been any more blood since but is this a UTI? What should I do?
In the past few days they've not really had vegetables much, could this have caused it?
Also, Willow and Marmalade drink a lot, I have to refill their bottle twice a day, does this have anything to do with it?

Is there anyway you could separate them all to establish which one has the pink urine? Then a vet vist is in order!
