Maybe too much carrot as they are high in sugar I believe...

I'd say far too much fruit and lettuce. Too much carrot also as it's very high in sugar. Fruit should be more of a treat and in smaller quantities as it's high in sugar. Fresh leafy greens, coriander, Swiss chard, green beans, small amounts of cucumber, these are things that can be fed often. A few small chunks of carrot a week will do.

Thank you for letting me know , I'm a New Guinea pig owner so m still trying different foods out with my pigs cx

I give carrot one to two times a week. It is sugar filled so you want to limit. As well as all the fruit. fruit should be given sparingly as a treat. My pigs get just the carrot and a different herb or hay mix as a treat, we skip the fruit all together since they are not huge on it anyways. they would rather the carrot

On the website happy cavy it says you can feed carrot almost daily xx
That is the problem with the internet - not everything out there is necessarily true or up to date.
Having said that I am sure that there are people who do feed carrot every day and have no problems, but you did ask for advice and others have shared their own knowledge and experience.

Yes I know that not everything you see on the internet is true but I have looked at many other websites and it says that it's okay to give it to your Guinea pigs often ! I am still going to take your advise tho and I will cut them down on carrots and use it as a reward from now on . Thank you for all your advise everyone xx
