Hi
I'm looking at getting two pigs.
I have an area in my living room that's 190x80cm is this big enough for them?

Also can I house two males together if they have been bought up together?

Thank you

Two boys can live together very happily but it's more a case of whether they get along and are compatible rather than if they grow up together. If anything many people find that it's easier to bond boars when there is a bit of an age gap especially as this means they won't be going through their tricky teenage months at the same time which is when they're most likely to fall out. There are always pairs of happily bonded boars in rescues waiting to be adopted.

As for cage size I'm no expert and I'm rubbish at maths. There is a very useful guide in the guides for new owners section and I'm sure someone else will come along to help out with that soon enough.

Assuming my maths is correct, that's just over 6ftx2ft, so yes, it's big enough for a pair of boars and definitely big enough for a pair of sows.

That would be a fabulous space for a pair. As mentioned above, you’re better off contacting rescues and get on their waiting lists. Then just wait until they have suitable piggies for you. They will have been well bonded and health checked. And no pregnancies in the case of sows.

Yes as the others have said the cage size is perfect for two boys.

Yes two boars can live together. But just to make clear, being brought up together is irrelevant. As long as two piggies have character compatibility then they will bond, it doesn’t matter whether they always been together, are related or only just met later in life. Being siblings does not make them any more likely to be compatible than not being siblings
