First of all I have my group of 5 pigs, 1 boar and 4 sows in a 6x4 shed which they have the run of and when it's not raining they have access to an attached run which at a guess is probably about 36 square feet. and I also have 2 pigs, a boar and a sow living on a shelf in the shed which is about 2 1/2 by 4 feet and again on nice days they are in their run which is about 12 square feet. I am planning on building a hay loft shelf thing for both lots but not sure when I will be able to.
Do they sound like big enough setups?
