Is this bullying

I've noticed this past week when i go in the shed the older 2 seem to be chasing hermione away al the time and today they ahve paired of in the cleaning cage huddled together and hermione is left out by herself. Are they being mean to her cos she's an odd number piggie, do you think if i had an even number of 4 piggies it would help if they had someone to go off with :-\

No, I'd put it down to personalities I have a 3 some that all snuggle up together. adding another one might help things or it might be 3 against 1?

Well my mam said i could get anotherguinea pig to be equal if it would help them, i've watched hermione try goingover to the 2 alot but they both chase her away, they hidein tubes and corners and leave herout so she ends up sat in the corner by herself, she did this today while i was leaning them out and it reall tugs at your heart trings, lol.

I'm going to observe them over the week end lot see if they let her in or not or if the chasing gts worse before i make the decision to add another, i'd hate to think of her living her whole life left out of the group

Awww thats a shame, do you have room so if you added another and it didnt work out, you could split them into 2 pairs of 2?

Well my dads said he'll make the piggies a second floor in there hucth but if it doesn't work out thn i could instead have them as 2 single hutches in the shed

Sounds like a plan then O0 I think it is unlikely that one of a pair would bully the other, kind of like "there is just the 2 of us, so lets stick together" ;D

Yeah i was thinking if there was 4 they could hang in 2's and he won't be left out. She spends alot of time sitting ontop of the house, everytime they chase her she jumps up i think she's to nervous to come down :-\

I had this Kezza with Howie, Lolly & Looby. Lolly was always with Howie leaving Looby out so i got Bayou at 5wks old (thinking exactly the same was as you) - the pair of them (Lolly & Looby) continually attacked her to the point she was pinned in a corner wheeking for her life.
I then tried her with Esme, Ester & Bijou & Bijou never left her alone, she spent her life jumping along obstacles to avoid Bijou.
Esme & Ester are now leaving Bijou out but i'm leaving them to sort out their differences
