Hi everyone,
My guinea-pig is 6 years old and I’ve noticed her back feet look as if they have blisters on them. They don’t seem to be causing her any pain however I am wondering do I need to go to the vet or if this can be treated at home? Any advice would be very appreciated and I have attached photos
Thankyou in advance,
Melissa 112853112854

Hi, firstly I would recommend a vet visit to see what they say. Also I've found vet bed very helpful with piggies with bumblefoot and limited mobility.

It does look like it could be, bumblefoot is a staph infection and can only be cured with antibiotics, so a vet visit is definitely on the cards if that's what it is, I hope she's feeling better soon! :)

I'm not sure what this could be buy if you have concerns you definitely need to pop along to the vet. If it is bumblefoot it will be much easier to treat if you start early rather than waiting until it progresses

Thankyou yeah I’ll be booking a vet appointment ASAP i was just confused because the photos on google seem to look very different however I think that is the most likely scenario!
