My two girls are 5 months old. I’ve been giving them a small cup of veg each every day. It’s generally a mix of the following...

Romaine/little gem lettuce and cucumber - Almost everyday.

Half an apple OR half a carrot - Once a week.

Watermelon, celery - Approximately fortnightly.

Kale, broccoli, blueberries, strawberry tops - Approximately twice a month.

Dried dandelion mix (emergency back up when I’m out of veg roughly twice a month).

They don’t like any peppers, green beans, cabbage.

Are there any vitamins lacking or too much calcium etc? I’m not really sure if I’ve got the balance right, given what they will and won’t eat. Any suggestions welcome.

They also have grasstime weather permitting.

Thanks.

sounds ok, i would recommend feeding less apple (once a week is ok but not as much). celery can be fed 3-4 times a week so it’s ok to feed that more. try feeding different colours of peppers and be insistent as pepper is a very healthy thing to have in their diet. once they are older in my opinion you could give them more veggies, i give mine about 60-70g each per day. how much pellets do you feed?
