Is this hay ok?

Hi, due to the current state of the world, it's been hard to find their usual hay (the Timothy hay with flowers in from b and m) but I managed to find this hay in big bales at a farm near where I live.

The strands are long and fairly green and the piggies seem to enjoy it. I know it's not as good as Timothy but is it ok to feed it until I can find their usual hay again?

Yes it will be fine. It’s more than likely just grass hay, which the piggies will love rooting through to find the best bits.
They should have Timothy hay all the time, it’s too high I’m calcium (I think?).

I never give Timothy due to allergies, brown hay is not necessarily bad either it just means it's been sat in the sun longer. As long as it is dry, fresh smelling and not dusty it is fine your hay actually looks lovely and soft, I would be happy to feed it to mine.

So I'll keep feeding them this. That's one less thing to worry about
