(this is my first time owning guinea pigs, sorry if i sound kinda dumb) so, i have 2 guinea pigs called keks and cleo, both of them are females and i have them for around a week now, so both are still relatively young. while cleo likes to explore, and run around, and try to find ways to escape and she doesnt like getting carried, keks likes to enjoy the moment, get picked up and just relax in my arms. now, cleo and keks often "play", i can hear one of them doing a low rumble sound (i dont exactly now if its the "purring" guinea pigs can do of if its ment aggressivily) they chase eachother, its always the worst after i took keks out of the cage for a while, leaving cleo alone, they do this most of the time too. theres no wounds or anything, but i really want to know if this is normal behaviour for the two? (yes , i know that guinea pigs need some time to get used to everything, but keks was basically running to me and i couldnt resist it anymore tbh, shes not scared if me or anything at all)

Welcome

Yes everything you have mentioned is normal behaviour.
The low rumbling (rumble strutting) is a dominance behaviour. Your piggies are in a period of establishing their relationship (even if they had always been together, they reestablish in a new territory).

When you take them out the cage, it’s best to take them out together if possible.
When you take just one out, it can cause the dominant piggy to feel the need to display increased dominance to secure their position when their companion is returned.
