Is this normal? Have I gone mad?

So we’ve had buttons and Oreo since last April.
This morning they had a ding dong and buttons ended up poking himself in the eye with a piece of hay.

He did a weird lopsided head thing for a while (which I read is him trying to use the good eye) we checked him and there’s no mark and now he’s back to normal. (Spoke to a vet on the phone who said to keep an eye on it)

However, like when my children hurt themselves and I give them a treat for ‘being brave’ ...I did the same to the pigs?! I went to the pet shop and got them new hideys, toys a little house etc. Came home, did a big clean....made the cage a bit bigger etc etc.

Is this normal? Have I gone mad?! 😆
 
It seems fine now, his head is now straight.....that was what was worrying me the most, as there wasn’t any mark on the eye.

I originally thought he may have pulled a muscle or something as they did a pretty big leap in the air together.

No, I waffled on and explained everything and he said to keep a watch of it and to call back if the eye looks like it’s injured or the head thing continues. (I think I called close to closing time)
 
I would get the eye checked out whether it looks okay or not. I’ve been known to give them a treat after nail trimming 🙄
