My pig happens to drink a lot, but for some odd reason has no taste for veg other than carrots. So your piggies are probably fine! While hay and pellets are both very dry foods, plenty of veggies, especially when just washed, have high water content. Some of those include cucumber, celery, fresh washed lettuce. If your pigs are eating vegetables like that then they have probably sated their thirst that way. I'm sure they are drinking as much as they need to. As long as they aren't showing any signs of illness or depression I wouldn't worry about it :) If you put any vitamins into their water that could also affect the taste and could be why they don't drink a lot, or they could simply be drinking when you aren't around!

Different healthy Piggies appear to drink different amounts of water, just like us. Most of ours only seem to drink when eating dry food.

My current two boys, whom I've had since January, never drink at all. There's always a bottle for them, and for many weeks I also had a dish of water, but neither has ever been touched. It worried me at first, as all my previous piggies have happily drunk from a bottle, but they are very healthy and when they had a check-up at the vet he said they are well hydrated. They have cucumber every day, and other veggies, so obviously they are getting sufficient from the veg.

thank you all guys xx when i first got them they was in the cage and stuff and they were depressed over winter o,o but i think there better and happy they eat loads of vegs they even think my fingers are food and yeah xD
xhugs to every one and there piggiesx
