Is this normal ?

I had to split my two boys up 2 days ago, due to one of them constantly mounting the other to the point it was making my other boy very stressed and some what depressed. Since splitting my less dominant boy has been very quiet, will it just be him adjusting to a cage by himself? They have a c&c cage with a divider between so they can sniff each other and interact still

You should be able to tell if he’s happier being separated but with contact through the bars still.Id wait a couple of days and see if he’s happier.The dominance ie humping is normal and some boars constantly do it but if it’s so much that the submissive boy can’t eat or sleep then I think a temporary separation is a good thing.
