I have had mt newest gunieapig for a week now and I know humping is a way they show dominance. I was told by one person that this should stop after a week and then told by another that male guniea pigs do this to eachother all the time. They seem to get along togeather for the most part and I have added a second watter bottle and foood dish. I do let them stay out of the cage for most of the day when I am home so they arnt cooped up and have room to roam.

It is perfectly normal. It is a dominance behaviour and they will continue to do it all the time. It will settle down a bit once they have established their relationship though, so after a couple of weeks, but it isn’t something that will stop entirely.
I can’t remember how old your piggies are, but if they are within their teenage months (4-14/15 months of age) then you are going to see it a lot throughout that time.
You will also see it start to happen again if they ever need to reestablish their hierarchy - such as a change in their environment
My boys don’t do it very often now (they are around 19/20 months old and have been together almost all of this time) but it does still happen from time to time

They are right in their teenage months then with hormones at a high.
The key to keeping teenage boars happy, is a lot of space, two or three of every item and never do anything to upset them - always make sure you handle the dominant piggy first.
Keep asking questions if you need to!
