Chestnut was 9 weeks old on saturday.
Last night we weighted him and he is just under 14oz is that ok or is he under weight?

what's that in metrics? just under a pound?... maybe a little...

Finaly is 11 weeks old and he's 632 g. Have you got just the ONE pig? if so, they tend to eat less as there is no competition for food...

Yes i have just got the 1 but am on the look out for a baby boar to be friends with him

I think 14 oz using a converter (haha my maths is crap) is 396g

All pigs are different weights, and it could just be that he needs 'feeding up' but I think that looks an acceptable weight to me....maybe someone else will say different.

MrsM is right that he may eat less as there is less competition, but maybe he is eating less as he feels a bit lonely?

My pig Babe (female) is 7 months and only weighs a pound and a half. I wouldn't worry too much if he's eating.

It's not the actual weight that is a concern it's whether they are consistently putting it on.

If you weigh him regularly and keep a record of it then it's easier to see that he is progressing in the right direction ! If he is eating ok and you weigh him the same day each week and he is putting weight on then there is little to worry about.

They are just the same as us - they come in all different sizes!
