Is this ok? Pic added to demonstrate my meaning

I couldnt decide which section this would be best in. I have a rescue piggie coming in around 3 weeks, he is a neutered boar but will only just have been neutered so will be keeping him seperate from the girls for 6 weeks or so before introducing. I have a large C&C for the girls and was planning to add an annex/extension onto it for the boar but not sure if I have to keep him away from the girls completely or if this will be ok? He will be seperated from them by grids so they wont be able to get to each other but will be able to sniff through the bars ?/ Have added an extension on to show what I mean (the bit with green pigloo in)

This is my concern, I dont want him to hurt himself trying to get to the girls. I could make a separate C&C for him and just put it in another room for the 6 weeks but thought it might be nice for them to get to know each other through the bars :)
 
I'd be concerned he could do himself damage if he sees the girls straight after his op especially if he still has stitches. Maybe you could have him in the room but not directly next to them so he can get used to the sounds of their voices but not have the temptation of having them within reach.
 
I have only once introduced a boar ready for rehoming to a girl of mine, but he went on a two day long testosterone overdrive on arrival. Our living room STANK like you just wouldn't believe it! Since then, he's been on testosterone only every few months, and never even close as bad as that.

So you are probably better off if you kept him away from the girls for the time being.

PS: I absolutely love your set-up! Can I be a piggy of yours in my next life?

Thank you for the advice, I will set him up a C&C of his own and have him in the livingroom. I dont want him to do any damage. We went to see him today as we hadnt met him yet and he was everything I knew he would be, I am so in love x)x)
