Hi everyone! Today I decided to give Lillith and Allie a little kitchen area so clean up would be easier, I was just curious what your opinion is on this ramp? The girls are petrified of it even with all their food at the top of it lol. I'm going to leave everything up there just a little bit longer and if they still don't go up I'll take everything down for them(food and hay.)
If it is to steep should I wait till I get payed on the weekend and buy more colorplast and make a ramp out of just that(I've done that before) Is there a way I could make a ramp out of every day items if necessary?

PLEASE EXCUSE THE MESS, I'm going to be doing a spot clean right after this. :))

I can't quite tell - could you try to get a side-on picture of the ramp? The good thing is that you have the ramp covered over so they can't fall off, but piggies are not particularly great at running uphill so they may struggle with their little legs. They may also be quite fearful about coming back down again if the incline is a little too steep.

I think it's probably best to be dictated by them. If they are afraid to go near it then it's probably best to take it out.

Also, just a thought, perhaps the pigs don't yet know that the veggies are up there, so they're not interested in it? Perhaps you could scatter a few pieces on the ramp to tempt them up.

They know their veggies and hay are up there because I set them up there when I finished and they ate a bit, then started fighting a little(nips mostly) so I set them back down at the bottom and they stopped fighting. I'll put a few on the ramp right now

It doesn't look any steeper than my ramp. ;)

The ramp is not too steep. You need to line the ramp with something they can grip on. Either towel or bathroom rug would work.
They won't be able to run up with the bare coroplast.

The grids with 6x6 squares across on the loft is dangerous. Looks like piggies could poke their heads through and get stuck.

It looks much steeper from above than it does from the side. Like others have said, I think that should be okay :)
Hopefully they'll get the hang of it!

This made me giggle because Allie actually already gave that a try, thankfully she didn't get stuck. It was really cute to see.

Thank you everyone! :))
