Someone told me to use a monthly plan using variety.

Also said that i should feed like this :

(All Grams Are for 1 pig , I'm getting two )

10g Pellets Per Day
50g Vegtables Per Day

When going to the green grocers I'm going to buy a week worths but different wvery week.

So has anyone got a plan for 2 piggies for a month ?

Would love to hear any feed back

Cheers Tommo

That is so precise! I leave mine a bowl of dried food a day and they can help themselves. I know some people are really strict on this but I feed mine two vegetables a day like a cucumber in the morning and a romaine lettuce in the evening. I hope that helps.

Thanks :)

If i fed one Low-Mid Veggie and one mid-high veggie would that balance out the ratio of Ca:p ?

Lol! I give mine a vitamin C tablet each day crushed and put on a slice of cucumber just to keep up their intake. You may like to do that too.

Feeding

I think i over feed my lot lol , they have cucumber, celery, mixed lettuce (not iceberg) tomatoe ( small amount) twice a day. Also grass by the pile lol , loads of hay, freshly grown carrots and the tops when they are ready, dandy leafs and their muesli mix.I dont consider them over weight as they get time in the run.My older female had babies last august and doesnt seem to have got rid of babie fat yet lol. I do treat them to melon apple and other fruits too. They dont drink hardly any water at all but i believe they get that from the food they eat. They are all very healthy and happy pigs, soi must be doing something right lol .

most nugget food bags that i know of say to feed each piggy between 30-50g of nuggets a day. so i just fill the bowl up. they hardly ever eat the whole bowl in a day.

for veggies have a look at the food section there are stickies for feeding veg.
vitamin tablets are not recommended, they should get enough vitamin c from nuggets and veg. i feed a variety of 5-6 different veg each day to my lot.

I also never measure how much food I give my piggies. I fill their bowl each day and let them help themselves.

As for vitamin C I make sure I feed them veggies that are high in vitamin c such as bell pepper, spinace and broccoli

They are six months old and very happy healthy pigs :)
