Do guinea pig need to eat this because I saw someone that doesn't give this to their guinea pig their just give them hay and vegetables

A good quality pellet food can enhance your pig's diet, and can contain herbs and plants that you wouldn't necessarily get from a supermarket. This can be agood thing if the ingredients are good. The best sort of grain-free, as too many grains can in some cases be a trigger for bloat, or worsen their chances if something else triggers the bloat.
Certainly they need fresh vegetables daily and hay. Lots of hay.
