Is this the right Metacam dosage

I’ve been prescribed 1ml for my boy alongside 0.5ml tramadol. He’s still in pain when peeing. Just wondering if I can up the metacam to 2ml

My vet prescribed cat loxicom 1ml a day and 0.5 tramadol every 8 hours. And septrin 0.5 twice a day. She’s done x-rays, ultrasound and a bladder flush. Found nothing.

He completed a course of Baytril before starting the Septrin. He’s had 5 doses of septrin so far.

Sorry another tidbit of info, the vet sent a urine sample to the lab, results were negative

Tramadol is a very strong opiate painkiller, if he is already having that plus loxicom I doubt increasing the loxicom would make much difference- if he is still in pain after taking tramadol 3 times a day I think you need to urgently consult your vet!

I agree with the above. Your piggy shouldn’t be in that much pain whilst on strong painkillers
