Is This Type Of Lettuce Okay?

Hi

I bought a bag of mixed lettuce the other day at it contains salad leaves like; cos lettuce, oak and coral lettuce (red and green) radicchio, endive, and chard which I know is okay for guinea pigs

Although some of the other leaves listed were; mizuna, red beet, red mignonette and tatsoi. Which I'm not sure is okay for guinea pigs?

Does anyone know? Thanks

That's great! Just not sure about the red beet and red mignonette now, but I'll try to google some more about then. Thanks for your help

Found out red beetroot leaves are okay very occasionally and red mignonette is on the guinea pig australia website so I assume it's okay.

That was a very useful website. It has cleared up a few things that I was wondering about lettuce for piggies. I have seen bags of watercress and lolla rosa in my local green grocers and wondered if my pigs could eat them. Now that I know they can, I will give them a try! (I've tried my pigs with Pak choi but they didn't like it.)
