is this wood shaving good?

i know that paper bedding is the best, but i was just wondering whether this is any good?

it was really cheap from pets at home, and the bedding i’m currently using is sold out.

It's ok to use but I find it quite low quality compared to lots of others, large bits of wood, dust, bits of plastic bags etc. So you'll need to break it up quite well to check through it just in case. Snowflake shavings are also quite cheap for the amount you get and can be bought in B&M, I used to use those when I hurt my back and couldn't handle getting 20kg bales of pureflake or thoroughbred shavings 😅
 
The bedding in the photo looks good just make sure there is not too much dust in it :D
 
I bought this as I couldn’t get to my usual supplier for snowflake. They’re okay but I prefer snowflake.
