Is Tyrion A Rex?

Hi,

can someone tell me if Tyrion is a Rex guinea pig please? We were told he was but his fur doesn't look fuzzy, unless it's because he's still a baby? He's about 9 weeks old now.

His fur isn't like any of our other guinea's fur.

I'm useless at breeds, I can just about make out a long haired, smooth short haired, teddy and Abyssinian

It's hard to see in the photo Kerrie but you're right he's not looking very wiry yet. Are his whiskers a bit wavy at all? His colouring looks agouti golden/red?) but again hard to see in the photo. My darling Bumble (RIP) was a silver agouti rex, sadly I don't have any photos of him due to three house moves in two years.

I think Storm is an agouti? Tyrion's fur is different, we first he was whatever Cocoa is which below Storm, but again different fur

Whatever they are Kerrie your piggies are all beautiful. The top one with white nose has agouti colouring with the ticking. I think Tyrion has to, I'm no expert but the way I understand it is, agouti is a breed like rex or smooth but can also be a colouring, my peanut is a smooth with agouti colouring.

I suppose I'll have to wait until Tyrion grows some more I think he's got that fluffy baby fur atm.

Gladys has a kind of fur sticky up bit on her back.. The rest of her is smooth... I don't know what breed she is..

Ermm you'll have to post a pic of her in the breed forum It's like Snow, he's got long hair at the back, not dead long but long enough for us to have to trim it so he doesn't get dirty or wet there.
