Is white wine vinegar ok to wash guinea pig fleece in the washing machine?

Another substitute as they didn't have any white vinegar left in stock will this be okay? Don't want my guinea pigs to get drunk either lol! I'm about to wash their smelly fleece!

I use white vinegar in the 'rinse' instead of fabric conditioner but I don't use it as a 'wash'..? Does it work?

I normally put it in the conditioner drawer, I imagine it'd be more effective in the actual washing machine but I don't know

I put 1/2 cup vinegar directly in the laundry bag along with the soiled fleece and detergent and it works well. In the beginning tried in the rinse drawer only but it wasn’t getting the smells out completely that way.

its perfectly fine to use white Vingear ot clean fleece. i use about half a cup.
