Isiah has a scab type growth thingy on the corner of his lips it is dark brown (basically looks like a big scab). We saw the vet last week who said it didn't look to be infected but it was in a place where it was at risk of becoming infected so he prescribed Isiah some baytril anyway. It has not improved at all - it has not got any smaller/larger/changed in colour etc etc.
Isy is eating his food as normal, drinking, running around and popcorning.
I just want to know if anyone has ever had this on their piggies before and if they know what it is/how long it lasts/is it serious?

hmmmmmmmmmmm yes I think it might be cheilitis. Poor Isiah :(
Still not really sure what to do about it though.

There are a variety of treatments, but it depends on the kind of infection that it has started with. I would get your little sweetheart to the vets and ask them if they can take a swab to find out exactly what it is, and the best way to treat him.
