...what gets eaten first?

Yesterday, out of grapes, broccoli or carrot, they ate carrot first, then grapes, then broccoli. I thought grapes would go first!

Today, out of romaine lettuce or cucumber, the lettuce went first.

The cabbage from lunchtime is still there, that obviously isn't a hit.

Yeah I love watching :smitten: :smitten:

It's funny cos I always think they'll eat something first but then they go and eat something else ;D

Both my lots would eat lettuce first, carrot gets left until last. Have only recently tried them with grapes. They seemed to quite like them. Tried melon tonight - turned their noses up.

in the evening when i sometimes give them carrot and baby corn, bob eats the carrot, and munchie the baby corn ;D stops bob stealing food from munchie lol

today for breakfast they had green pepper, cucumber, and baby corn, and bob ate pepper first, and munchie ate cucumber first.

On the rare occasions our boys have a small bit of banana or parsley, that always vanishes first. It's usually coriander or fresh grass that get literally troughed ;D It's also practically guarunteed the celery will be left until last, but they get there eventually ::)

carrot and cabbage always last to go, cucumber, spinach and grass is always first :)

Romaine Lettuce first somethings inbetween then carrot always last lol!

the cucumber doesnt even hit the floor! its gone so quick!

with mine they all like different things, but it tends to depend on what ive put in their fresh food dish, carrots get left along with apple if theirs something better! like spring greens!Dont think they are sure about peppers! though Jazz seems always have a chew!

Today I had cauliflower leaves, spinach and carrot. Jack went for the spinach, Charlie for the cauliflower. But he left the tough bits from the centre of the leaves ::)

mine love cauliflower leaves but i dont eat cauliflower and neither do they only the leaves :-\ so its a waste me getting them in :(

Mine always leave the carrots til last - even if I put them on the top of the pile! Sometimes they don't even get eatten - fussy wee things! :smitten:

They've gone off the cauliflower leaves a bit now ? Tonight they ate the cucmber, grapes and broccoli stalks in that order.

Mine are like that, they don't like a lot. My dog however has an obsession with raw carrot and sits by the door until I let her go in and pinch it (they're in a big pen, not a hutch).

As soon as I come home with carrots my lot start wheeking, don't know how they know :D

Carrots are always first to go, then Parsley, spinach, romaine lettice.

Celery is never touched so don't buy it anymore, Chewy looked at me like I was trying to poison him whenever I gave it to them ;D

Mine used to love broccoli and it was always the first to go - now they won't eat it at all! I don't why they suddenly changed their minds - they get a mixed selection at each meal & its different on each day. 98)

I gave them kale, cucumber and apple this afternoon and as usual the apple has hardly been touched....they just don't seem bothered by them and carrots are mostly just chewed and spat out again ::) And how come they wont eat the stalky bits from the middle of spring greens but they love broccoli stalks! funny girls ;D I've been giving them a bit of parsley and mint everyday just lately and thats gone as soon as it hits the bottom of the run, and it's the same with green and yellow pepper....they LOVE it O0
And how come they literally pick up and throw the pellets out of their food bowls, they never eat them :)

Wow, mine love apple and carrot. They won't touch peppers at all though, or tomato.

Carrots get left till last, as with cucumber, but when it comes to leafy veg like lettuce and parsely, they take a bit of everything and run back and forth with food in their mouth 98)

i thought poppy loved peppers until i realised she was putting it in her mouth and spitting it straight back out 98)

Glad someone else has a carrot mad dog ,my black lab Mollie is addicted,I'm sure they keep her teeth clean.

Yes, must be better than those soft chewy dog treats.

Says me, having just stuffed a packet of crisps and wondering what Christmas chocolate to start on next ::)

I bought some kale for the guineas yesterday and realised that I'd never cooked it for us so I pinched some of it to have with our dinner. Hubby said, what's that green stuff? ::) Then he smothered it in some hot chilli sauce stuff :-\ (Reggae Reggae sauce - was on Dragons Den).
