Hi, I have had 2 make guinea pigs since February who have got on really well, I bought 2 New Guinea pigs, females, that live in the same environment but in a different enclosure. As my female guinea pigs become more adventurous this seems to be causing my make piggies to fight and they seem to have become agitated, any advice would be greatly appreciated.inicdntky I bought the 2 new piggies for my new foster child

Unfortunately the smell of the females will be making the males fight. You would have to move them to Seperate rooms. Some males do not do well at all with females nearby.
Thanks

I hope you can find a solution to the problem soon. Maybe keeping the females below the males would be better? Always handle the boys first? It's not easy.

I am not an expert on this but I know of some members who successfully keep both males and females in the same room, but there is a bit of a trick to getting it right. I think the males need to be on the bottom and not able to see the females - so possibly one cage underneath a table and one on top?
I am sure someone will be along shortly who can offer better advice.
