So yet again it is Charlie Brown causing me concern. He has always been a big pig even before I rescued him and got him neutered. But a few days ago he looked bigger than normal but still his happy cheerful laid back (please girls leave me alone type of boar) So off to the vets we went. Yep a slight case of bloat but not serious my vet recommened gripe water extra tummy massages which I was doing already and stay off the veggies for a few days(I wont tell you how that went down) Well after a few days the bloating has gone down I swear he is farting for England and pooping and peeing to his hearts content.

My question should I continue with the gripe water for a few more days reduce the dose. At moment due to work he is getting 1ml twice a day or stop altogether.

Sorry I can’t answer the question
Just wanted to say I’m glad he’s better and he is such a gorgeous boy

I would stop and see how he is doing since the gas seems to be coming out. I would go lightly on the veg for a couple of days.

Gripe water has no use for bloat at all, weather you are using it not there is no proven scientific evidence for its use I'm afraid. It won't harm if you want to use it though so no problem. I really hope he's on the mend for you and feeling better, sounds like all is heading in the right direction. : )
