Itching

Hi all. Errol and Binky are both itching a lot more than usual. I've checked them over, no sign of fleas or rashes or anything.
Any ideas what might be bothering them?

Have you changed anything in the cage, like the hay or washing detergent if you use fleece?

If they start to scratch enough to cause sores or scabs then they'll need a vet visit.

Only thing that we've changed is the hay

Why would it be the hay? I can but I bought 5 bales!

Depending on where the hay is from, it could have been carrying mites or lice!
It may also be a dust allergy if this hay is particularly dusty x

I bought bales of hay from a farmer cheap and it had mites

It's not dusty so I don't think it's that. Could be hay mites I suppose - how can you identify them?
