i have had my new guinea pigs for a week and today i have noticed that one of the keeps scratching as a new owner i could do with some advice on how to help my boy please. laura
 
Check through his coat... if you find any dandruff, bald patches or clumps of hair come out as you look through it, then he's probably got mites.

Take him to the vets and get some ivermectin.

If he has none of the above, he may just possibly need a good bath.
