Junior Guinea Pig
My sow Betty seems to be really itchy and is scratching/biting at herself a lot. I’ve taken her to our exotic vet and mites/ fungal have been ruled out. She has no balding, no sores and no other symptoms whatsoever. I’m not sure what I can do to relieve her itching, it must be so annoying for her. She lives with 2 other sows and a neutered boar in an 8x2 enclosure in a shed on shavings, the cage is kept clean. None of her cage mates show any signs of itchiness. I’m looking at the Gorgeous Guineas shampoo for scurfy skin to see if that helps her, has anyone ever used before?
