hi I have 2 8-10 month old guinea pigs recently they have started biting me or any thing if you touch the lower part of their back they have some dandruff, just wondered what I should do. thanks

I would get them checked by a vet ASAP in case they have mites...

Welcome to the forum.
Most piggies don’t like having their back ends touched anyway but the best advice we can give on the forum is to go to the vet for a proper diagnosis and they will prescribe treatment if needed.
It’s always better to go and be told nothing is wrong than leave a piggy too long.

Hope you enjoy the forum and please keep us posted about your piggy

Please have your piggy checked for mange mites.

Here is more information on skin problems. Not wanting to be touched on the back is usually the first symptom of a mange mites outbreak.
Please do not treat on spec with pet shop products that are too low dosed to cure and only prolong the suffering while cost you a lot more in the end when you finally see a vet over a much more advanced case. Also keep in mind that we can only make educated guessed, but we (like any other online place) are neither qualified or nor able to diagnose a guinea pig without a hands-on examination and can never replace a vet visit.
New piggy problems: URI - ringworm - skin parasites
