Its a full moon, Wally might be a werepig!

Is anyone else having trouble?
Wally has gone loopy….. bar chewing extreme- he’s jumped ontop of his fleece forest & used it like a hammock. Luckily its the one place he has a roof grid, or he may have been over the top!
I am blaming the full moon, & wonder if we have a werepig!
 
We have a guinea pig again. After yesterday evenings antics, we decided to run through bedtime routine a little earlier. Wally decided to calm down (just like a toddler)!
Hamish isn’t letting much on this morning, but it doesn't look like there was a continuation/hay party or poo flinging over night.

Guess we wait and see if the werepig is back tonight or perhaps at the next full moon. :help:

Wally says, thanks for the offer of a date, but he likes his bachelor pad & isn’t ready for another move.
Would Lily like to be pen pals instead? They could discuss ways to terrorise the hoomans, and how to stay safe while bar chewing!

(Wally is already trying to avoid being pignapped by @Betsy for her girls!)
 
& for some reason Wally’s gone full werepig again. Tonight is a full moon( a super moon to be precise).


Wally’s been a bar chewing mess these last few days (despite all distraction methods). Proper tantrums, Including throwing his cardboard house around his home.

I had to give him time out in the carrier earlier, which I haven’t had to do for over a year.( I think!) He was also treated to a nail trim.


I really hope he can be a guinea pig again soon. 😂

Would anyone like to have Wally for a visit while he’s being a werepig?! 🙉
My OH is pretending to do something upstairs to escape the noise.

Thank you for asking, mornings are better, evenings I still have a werepig. Although he is a little quieter. It’s the bar chewing that’s suddenly gone mental again after ages of minimal.

Worrying there is more too it this time.
Could just be cold weather & no playpen time, I am mixing it up in the evening so Wally gets a different set up.

Luckily I have already booked my little werepig a vet health check at the weekend. ( It’s been booked a while)
So hopefully we will all feel better after that.

Kylie and Pino wouldn't like it at all if they had no free roaming time so maybe it's just the combination of your recent holiday and no playpen time (and the moon). I wouldn't worry too much but of course you know your little werepig best.
All fingers and paws crossed that everything is allright.
