Well in animals I like them to be pretty and perfect in my own little way, I have never owned a black animal, yes animals with black on but not fully black?/
Then Pigglet came along, I fell in love with himx) He is nearly all black and he has such an amazing personality, he is friendly and loving and only 3 weeks old and already confident when being handled ect! xoxo
Again I got Ruby on the understanding that she was a ginger colour, I went and picked her up and 4 pairs of red eyes were staring back at me, I couldn't say no to taking them and I am so glad I have taken them in, I now have 8 pairs of red eyes looking at me and I love them!x)
I guess the saying " never judge a book by its cover" is true, just because an animal is a darker colour or has a certain eye colour doesnt mean I should judge it in any way, theres so many dark animals in rescues and its so sad, I am going to change my ways and stop picking things for looks!

I have a friend who is blind and has cats - as she says to me so often, their colour doesn't matter, she can't see if they're black, or ginger or tabby - they all have their own special personality. It's the same with piggies.

Yup you're so right.........it like people no matter what they look like it's what's inside that matters :)

Sue that is beautiful x)

She's a lovely, lovely person - in her 50's now and has been blind since the age of 8.

Colours never bother me, I have many 'plain coloured' rodents. The first Guinea Pig that I chose was black;I see them for their individuality rather than their looks.

I have had 2 black dogs and 2 black rabbits and they were all so gorgeous. They look so shiny and are silky soft :) My dog Willow is black and she is stunning, as her coat is so shiny. Black pets would be my preference now! :)
