It’s getting hot! Are you ready? 🥵

I feel for you. My bedroom is the same, it gets the sun in the afternoon and the evening. There's no cooling it down anymore, even airing it in the morning makes little difference. So far, I've managed to sleep with a fan on, but it's not a very restful kind of sleeping.

At the office, there are blinds but they're the cheap kind and on the inside, so they don't keep the sun from hitting the windows and the windows are huge. Nice in the winter, not so much in the summer. As it's May, my employer doesn't consider that it's hot yet. Heat related measures, such as distributing water or being allowed to leave half an hour earlier are for July and August, not June or September, no matter how hot it gets. 🙄🤷‍♀️

Enjoying the cooler days.
Has it cooled down where you are now @Helen C?

Wally decided to snooze on the (cold)stone under his water bottle last night, so I supplied him with a frozen pad instead, which he went to snooze on for 5mins. Random pig- room was 22C, and he hadn’t shown any interest earlier in the day. He’s acting totally normal for him apart from that strange moment last night.

We had a pretty warm night so the house didn't cool down much. The clouds are starting to form though, so we should get storms in the evening. It's still quite hot, but a lot more bearable than yesterday. (The girls had to take turns to enjoy their floortime in the living room. It was much too hot to put one of them in the kitchen as we usually do. They weren't impressed.)

They do enjoy their frozen cooler elements as well--they can climb on them and feel like they're keeping an eye on their slaves while refreshing their paws.
