@Truffolo I feel for you. We used to live in London. The car registered 36.5 on my drive home yesterday. I am so grateful for all the ways too keep the house cool I have discovered & learnt, it’s made a huge difference for us & our guinea pigs.

It's 26 today so better than yesterday's 32! The smoke seems to be more at the back of the house, sounds daft I know but I can smell it in the garden but not at the front. I have been staying at the front of the house with the door open as the front of the house is in shade and it's definitely cooling the living room for the piggies a bit. I have to stay in the room with the piggies while the door is open because of cats, dogs and foxes so on the plus side I've done lots of paperwork I've been putting off.
