It's going to take a miracle anyone got any ideas

hey

Tomorrow i have to take 7 guinea pigs upto the vets does anyone have any ideas of how i am going to get them up there i have 1 carrier i have order more but no-one can get to us as we still have snow :)>>> and i have just phoned round all the pet stores to see if anyone had some carriers in even the horrid cardboard ones which i hate and no one has any so any ideas how to get my piggies to the vets?

Are they out of cat carrier's? would they fit in one of them? are you going in a car or taxi? if car cardboard box might be good?
 
I would either use a washing basket, cat carrier or cardboard box and stuff it with some hay too. x
 
Go to teh corner shop or supermarket and get a huge cardboard box x
 
thanks everyone don't know why i didn't think of a cardboard box, thankfully we are going by car although they all have to go in seperate boxes as 3 is a new mum and babies, 2 are in quaratine and the other 2 are currently paired off but i need to get 1 checked for ovarian cysts as when i first got them i thought that both girls where pregnant but one has now had hers and the other doesn't seem to be getting bigger but is lopsided and looks pregnant but it isn't possible so she need to be checked oh the joys although it should be funny getting them all into the vets with a 4 year old in tow too lol wish me luck is all I'm going to say.
 
have you asked if anyone can lend you a carrier most pet owners have one-mines actually on a lone to a friend at the mo but if you were nearer id get it to you
 
i'm in maidstone i have managed to find a cardboard carrier which i hate but i will use and ive found a spare cardboard box so should get them there now thanks for the offers though
