It's Loud In The Piggy Room Now!

Feeding time is a lot busier here now in the piggy room with 14 piggies. Everyone is in temporary pens as at the weekend the piggy room is having an overhaul and we will go from one piggy room, to two! In total there will be 3 pens. Two in the main room and one in the 'extension'. The large 2x11 pen will hold 7. The 2x7 next to it will hold 5 and the other 2x7 in the 2nd room will hold the 3 skinnies (plus hopefully another two skinnies in the future).

Anyway, here are pics of the guys and gals enjoying some veggie time!

Matilda and Fleur were first, but Fleur is a little shy.

I love your piggy room too, wish I had one. As for two piggy rooms, that's just being greedy. :))
My OH says 'what do you mean you wish we had room for a piggy room, we've got one, they've taken over the living room. Not to mention half the kitchen cupboards, the shed and the storage in the bedroom'.
 
I can't believe the noise my 6 make (the babies seem to be the loudest) but to have 14 piggies squeaking for their breakfast must be amazing! :nod:
 
Soooo much cuteness in one place, I'd struggle to leave that room! :drool::drool::drool::drool:
 
I'm curious on how much of your actual day is spent in pigs. I often wonder what I did in my spare time before getting 2 pigs!
 
In the morning before work I spend about 30 mins doing a quick sweep and making sure everyone is fed and happy When I get home I do another sweep, health check everyone and each night I take turns on getting different piggies out for a cuddle etc. This can be anything from 1-2 hours depending on the pigs. I also give veggies after work. Then before bed I do another quick sweep, make sure everyone is fed, happy and pass out some sneaky treats :)
Friday night is fleece change day, litter trays get changed every 2-3 days. Water bottle get changed every evening and scrubbed out on a Friday after fleece change. Saturday is pretty much the same routine but I do nail trims if needed and weighing on Saturdays too.
 
Sounds like your 14 piggies are keeping their slave busy! I can only imagine what the noise is like at feeding time! :D
